Host a Community Event

Did you recently publish a book? Do you have a topic in literature you love to talk about? Are you looking to start a conversation about books, writing, or the publishing industry with fellow writers? Start a conversation with us!

writers.com is excited to offer free literary events 1-2 times a month to our writing community. If you’d like to jumpstart a conversation with our writers, we’d love to sponsor your voice!

What We’re Looking For

As an open and diverse writing community, we’re looking for talented voices who want to share the following:

  • Book readings—share work from your recently published book, chapbook, or manuscript. Q&As are encouraged.
  • Conversations in literature—what are you excited about in literature? Talk to us about William Wordsworth and The Romantics, or Virginia Woolf and Confessional Poetry. Tell us about the future of the publishing industry, the direction of modern book theories, or your favorite novel on the NYT Bestseller’s list.
  • Your writing journey—how did you go from budding writer to professional author? Share your story, offer some advice, and inspire the next generation of Writers.com.

To encourage attendance at these events, we keep them free and open to the public. All conversation hosts are welcome to promote their books, courses, and social media.

How to Apply
