Where there is a will, there is a way. —Angela Merkel
Many writers talk about writing a book. Few actually complete one.
Why is that?
Fear, Fear and Fear.
In this four-week intensive program, you’ll work to shift your mindset and make progress on your book.
Please join our story cheerleading squad if you really want to get your book into the world. The energy will be high, positive and encouraging.
With the world locking down a bit due to escalating COVID stats, the December and January holiday season might be the best time to get the ball or continue the ball rolling on your book.
Give yourself the gifts of accountability, attention and advancement!
Each week after reading the posted lesson, you will submit two chapters from your book with the exception of the last week, which will be one. They can be a rough or a more refined draft. The idea here will be to make progress, not get bogged down in perfectionism. Each week, you will be asked to read at least one writer’s submissions, serving as accountability witnesses for each other.
Feedback offered in one paragraph at the end of each chapter will be impressionistic rather than detailed. Please note this is an accountability not a book critique program.
Along the way we will discuss the importance of theme, through-line and timing. A list of resources will be provided.
Submitted chapters need to be 2,500 words or less.
Course is limited to 8 writers.
