Resham Karfa – Writing Autobiographical Fiction

This course was fantastic. As a beginner, I did not know what to expect. Writers.com as well as Jack Smith himself provided many resources to get started and throughout. The format of the assignments, the feedback and interaction are intelligent. It is important to have a teacher’s feedback in general; having everyone else take part of that feedback is very useful for growth as a writer. I will be taking another course as I just couldn’t get enough. I did not know where to begin writing, but now I know how & where to continue.

The course was excellent. It’s the second time I’ve taken it, but there’s always more to get out of each lesson. The readings were inspiring and illuminating, covering a range of styles and human experiences. The lecture transcripts were engaging and pleasant to read; they were packed with helpful information but also clear and concise. Jonathan’s commentary was, as usual, incredible!
