Barbara’s encouragement and guidance illuminated ways in which I can objectively view my own writing. The other students were extremely gifted and shared poignant feedback. I know I have grown as a writer from this course.

David Mills was one of the best teachers I have ever had. His presentation of the material was exemplary and learned. His treatment of his students was generous and compassionate. But most striking of all was the attention David paid to the writing his students generated in the course. I have never had a closer reading of my writing than that given by David. David’s class was truly a watershed moment in my writing life.
